Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo is known as one of the greatest soccer players ever. However, off the field, he has never let his guard down. The Portuguese player has secured his future after retirement from soccer by building a global empire. He has invested in various ventures while also owning the brand CR7. The brand has ventured into different products and the player’s goodwill has played a part in its success.

Ronaldo rakes in a lot of money from different avenues and his net worth in 2023 is estimated to be around $500 million. This is slightly higher than long-time rival Lionel Messi. Ronaldo is the highest-paid soccer player in the world, as of now. He earns a bumper salary of around $213 million a year at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

In Forbes’ 2022 list of the highest-paid athletes in the world, Ronaldo ranked third with total earnings of $115 million. He was beaten to the top spot by Messi who led the way and LeBron James who was second. However, in the recently released list by Sportico of the highest-paid athletes ever, Ronaldo came in fifth, ahead of LeBron James in sixth and Messi in seventh.

According to Sportico, Ronaldo has earned around $1.58 billion in his life. Meanwhile, James has earned $1.53 billion and Messi has earned $1.48 billion. Leading this list is basketball legend Michael Jordan with approximate lifetime earnings of $3.3 billion.

How much money does Cristiano Ronaldo earn every week?

Most of what Ronaldo earns weekly is from his salary as a player at Al-Nassr. A breakdown of that salary shows that Ronaldo earns approximately $17.75 million monthly and $4.43 million weekly. However, this is not the only way Ronaldo earns his bucks.

Taking a deep dive into his other ventures, we will see he earns in multiple other ways. Firstly, sponsorships and endorsements. Ronaldo has a lifetime contract with Nike. The only other person with such a contract with Nike is LeBron James. It has been reported that James’ contract is worth over $1 billion, however, it is not known how it is divided yearly. But it is speculated that Ronaldo’s contract might be similar. He also endorses Castrol, Armani, and Tag Heuer among other brands.

Ronaldo owns the brand named CR7. It is majorly centered around his underwear line but has evolved into other products. He also owns a chain of hotels under the name Pestana CR7. Ronaldo’s massive social media following also helps him by posting advertisements on social media. He is the most followed person on Instagram and the most followed athlete on Twitter.
