Hugo Dos Santos Aveiro is the elder brother of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. Hugo is one of three more siblings Ronaldo has. The brothers have two sisters, Elma Aveiro, and Katia Aveiro. Katia, a singer and businesswoman, describes herself on her Instagram bio as a “digital influencer”. Similarly, Elma’s Instagram bio says “enterprising woman”.

A museum in the name of Cristiano Ronaldo, ‘Museu CR7’, exists apparently because of his brother Hugo. The museum is the brainchild of Hugo. It was Hugo who thought of building a museum for Ronaldo and his job now is to manage his brainchild.
According to The Guardian, Museu CR7 is located at Praça do Mar. This is in Funchal, the capital of Madeira. Here is where Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985. Hugo has taken up the job to manage the museum and he is the director. According to Nuno Mendes, the curator of the museum, Hugo is the director of the museum. It was his idea to build it and this is a family business. However, not much is known about the net worth of Hugo Dos Santos Aveiro.
In 2019, Mendes said to KTTP, “So it’s curious, this idea, it occurred maybe eight years ago. Ronaldo’s brother, he used to go to Ronaldo’s home and one day they were in the living room and Hugo…suggested to Ronaldo to open a museum because he saw so many trophies—spreading all over the living room.
“Ronaldo says, “yes it’s a good idea” and Ronaldo’s brother said, “We can open it in your home [Madeira] and it will be a good attraction and at the same time it’s business for the family.” So after some years, they planned, [found] the space and it all began almost five years ago.”
A 10 ft bronze statue of Ronaldo greets you at the museum. A plaque underneath it says, “Melhor Jogador Do Mundo” which translates to “Best Player In The World.”
Cristiano Ronaldo is the godfather to Hugo’s son
Hugo has two children. One daughter, Alicia Beatriz Aveiro, and a son, Hugo Tomas. It has been reported by many media outlets that Ronaldo is the godfather of Hugo’s son Hugo Tomas. Alicia was born on April 19, 1999. She is 23 years old now and has a huge following on her Instagram account. Not much is known about Tomas as he is quite young now.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, has five kids of his own. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., Eva, Mateo, Alana Martina, and Bella Esmeralda. Hugo was allegedly investigated for fraud in Italy
Hugo was reportedly investigated for a fraud case in Italy when Ronaldo used to play for Juventus. As per Football Italia, the Mussara company – owned by Ronaldo and run by Hugo – had ordered a special edition jersey to be manufactured in bulk. Pegaso was commissioned for the production and was expecting payment in the range of $500,000.
It was alleged that Mussara did not give Pegaso permission to begin production of the jersey with the Museu CR7 logo which was understood to be exact copies of Adidas designs. According to 90 Min, “the report added that Mussara demanded Pegaso hand over the shirts for £3.60 [$4.4] each in order for them to be destroyed, with Pegaso claiming that they spotted the same products on sale in the Cristiano Ronaldo museum for £36 [$44].”
This happened almost three years. However, no further information has been released about this event.
Pact with Cristiano Ronaldo that saved Hugo’s life

Ronaldo’s father was an alcoholic. Unfortunately, Hugo had taken the same road his father did. He became an alcoholic. Ronaldo was completely against this. The brothers made a pact. If Ronaldo was to win the 2014 UEFA Champions League, Hugo was to stop drinking and abusing substances.
