Meanwhile, Ronaldo was getting in the box to make the most of the opportunity but was defended a bit closer than expected by Tyrone Mings. Both players seemed to have held each other as the ball ran out of play. The two seemed to continue their tussle which resulted in Mings on the ground while Ronaldo stood firm.

After Lucas Digne and Douglas Luiz separated the two, all the players rushed as a heated exchange of words ensued, referee Anthony Taylor ran over and calmed everyone down, and called for a red card check on both players. Both players left a sigh of relief as they were only shown a yellow card for Violent Conduct.
Cristiano Ronaldo trained with UFC Superstar Conor McGregor & faced off with Khabib
After the 2016 Euro-Cup triumph with Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo was sighted vacationing in Las Vegas where he attended a Jennifer Lopez concert and her birthday party afterward.
He dropped by Conor McGregor’s gym where the UFC fighter was training for his rematch against Nate Diaz after a shocking defeat at UFC 201, they trained together and even stepped into the octagon.
The pair conversed about McGregor’s upcoming bout on UFC 202 card and how he’s focused on getting revenge, the two talked about money as well. Ronaldo was the highest-paid athlete according to Forbes that year, McGregor even made a snub on Instagram as the Irishman posted a photo with the Euro 2016 Champion.

McGregor isn’t the only UFC fighter Ronaldo has met up with and exchanged pleasantries with and who better than Connor McGregor? Khabib Nurmagomedov. The retired UFC fighter was attending the match between Manchester United and Everton at Old Trafford last year.
Khabib’s love for football is well known as the now-retired fighter uploads clips of him playing football and is good friends with Ronaldo as the two have posted numerous selfies over the years.

The two stars supported each other through comments on social media posts and texts before they met. Khabib also got to meet Paul Pogba and United Legend Rio Ferdinand. But what stood out amongst all these stars gathered in one place was the pre-match UFC face-off between Ronaldo and Khabib. The fighter shared a clip of their face-off on Instagram and called the 5-time ballon d’Or winner a champ and inspiration to millions.
