Kylian Mbappe is regarded as one of the best players going around in the world currently. The PSG forward has already achieved enough in his career which makes other players look up to the French international. But the forward recently met a person who he was literally ‘looking up to’.
The internet was thrown into frenzy after video of Mbappe went viral with NBA star, Victor Wembanyama. The teenage NBA star stands tall at a height of 7’5″ while Mbappe is around 5’10″. The difference in their height was a major point of talking after the two huge prospects of two different sports met.
Wembanyama is regarded as one of the future greats by experts in the game. He currently plays for Metropolitans 92 who play in the LNB Pro-A, the highest tier basketball league in France.

Mbappe, on the other hand, currently plays for PSG even though there were massive speculations of a transfer to Real Madrid last summer. The 24-year-old stayed with PSG as he played in yet another World Cup final in December of 2022.
The future of Mbappe at PSG seems to be a question again in this transfer window. The Paris side are set to lose their two superstars, Lionel Messi and Neymar, this summer. It would be interesting to see whether Mbappe follows the door together with his teammates.

Mbappe met Wembanyama in Paris recently ahead of the NBA draft lottery which was won by San Antonio Spurs. Wembanyama is considered to be the favorite to be picked by Spurs as he is regarded as one for the future.
Victor Wembanyama is touted to be the next best thing in basketball after LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. This would have excited Mbappe who is himself thought to be the successor of the legacy of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

He could be seen back in action soon as PSG will be facing Auxerre in a Ligue 1 match on Monday. The forward would want to seal the league title for his club after a heartbreak in the UCL.
Wembanyama, on the other hand, is set to be picked up by the NBA team, San Antonio Spurs. The teenager has already displayed huge ability in the LNB Pro A for Metropolitans 92. It would be interesting to see how he fares for Spurs as they look set to pick him.
