After winning the FIFA World Cup, Lionel Messi is now considered the greatest by a major part of the sporting community. The Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo debate is said to have been settled in Messi’s favor.
The two soccer players have gone head-to-head for years. They have won an insane amount of trophies and broken a huge number of records. Many in the sporting community had made up their mind that whoever won the World Cup will have won the debate of who the better player is. Messi’s Argentina defeated France 4-2 on penalties in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 to settle the debate.

Former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate has also finally had his say in the Messi-Ronaldo debate. Previously, Tate, who is an internet sensation, used to not recognize Messi and Ronaldo. He has talked about not knowing who these soccer players are. To be all over the internet and not know the most famous celebrity soccer players is a little hard to digest.
However, in a recent interview, Tate finally stopped lying about not knowing the two players. Piers Morgan asked Tate to make his choice between the two soccer greats. Tate did not make a choice but recognized the greatness of both players.

When he was asked, “If you have to pick: Ronaldo or Messi?” He replied, “I don’t have a clue.” He went on to talk about how he does not really watch soccer and has no idea about Chelsea or Arsenal. Tate, however, showed his hatred for England’s soccer team as he said he watches the World Cup just to watch England lose.
In another interview, he is heard saying, “I know that Ronaldo is good at whatever he does. Is that his name? Ronaldo?” He made it seem like he does not know what the Portuguese star Ronaldo does or even if that is his name.
Tate finally gives Ronaldo and Messi the credit they deserve
In an interview with Piers Morgan, recently, Tate has finally given credit and recognition to the soccer players. He admitted to knowing them and respecting them for what they do.
‘Top G’ Andrew Tate, said, “They (Messi and Ronaldo) are two hard-working men on the Earth and I respect people who dedicate themselves.”
There’s no denying that Messi and Ronaldo are two of the most influential people and soccer players of our era. Even though Ronaldo did not touch Messi’s heights and failed to win the World Cup, he is still one of the greatest to play the sport.
