Now the two bidders, namely INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani from Qatar, are looking to buy the club. But it looks like Sheikh Jassim from Qatar might have a big edge over Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Because he has the approval of ex-Red Devils star David Beckham.
According to reports from talkSPORT, David Beckham will be offered an ambassadorial post at Old Trafford if Sheikh Jassim, the Qatari banker who is fighting against Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is successful in his takeover bid for Manchester United.

On Sunday, while attending the Qatar Formula One Grand Prix, David Beckham demanded stability at United and said that he ‘knows the right people’ to purchase his former club. In an interview with Sky Sports, he said, “We are one of the, if not the biggest club in the world. We want stability, I think that’s the most important thing”.
David further added, “We all have our favorites of who we feel need to run the club and look after the club to take it back to where it belongs. ‘In our eyes, in the fans’ eyes, we are number one. We want to be back at the top and I believe I know the right people to do that so we’ll see!”
The Inter Miami co-owner played for 11 years for United from 1992 to 2003. He managed to win six Premier League titles with them and left the team as a legend. He has been loved by the fans ever since. And he has only the best interests at heart for the club that he calls his own – Manchester United.
