Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. did have a boxing match before
While Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi battling it out in the cage continue to remain a wistful thought, the Portuguese superstar did show up in the cage before with another soccer star. Ronaldo’s opponent was none other than Messi’s close friend and former PSG teammate, Neymar Jr. The Al-Nassr star and the Brazilian talisman appeared in an advertisement for the Portuguese technology firm MEO.
Dressed in boxing trunks and donning Lucha Libre masks, the two stars faced off in the ring. The concept of imagination was the central tenet of the commercial, with one woman even speculating in the commercial that Neymar might start dancing in the ring, while another variation of the commercial showed the two stars playing tennis with chopsticks.
