CR7’s latest social media antics have surfaced after Al-Hilal’s game against Al Riyadh. Though the Saudi Pro League leaders were able to win the game 3-1, it was Cristiano’s comments about the win that stole all the limelight.

Al-Hilal won 3-1 on the night thanks to the three penalties that the club received during the game. The club could only finish 2 of those 3 penalties, as Alexander Mitrovitch missed the chance to give his team an early lead. While the Al-Hilal fans looked pretty happy with the team’s comeback victory, it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo had a problem with one of the penalties that Al-Hilal received in the game.
The League leaders received a penalty in the 63rd minute as a result of Al Riyadh defender Mohammed Al Shwirekh fouling Mitrovitch inside the penalty box. Former Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves duly converted from the spot to equalize for Al-Hilal. However, TV replays have shown that the penalty decision was a huge blunder as Alexander Mitrovitch had dived to get a spot kick.

Cristiano Ronaldo could not keep his calm after seeing the injustice and therefore left a series of laughing emojis on an Instagram post. The 38-year-old’s club, Al-Nassr, is chasing Al-Hilal for the SPL title and was disgusted with the referee’s wrong judgment, which can prove decisive in the title race. At the end of matchday 23, Al Hilal, with 65 points, has a 12-point lead over 2nd-placed Al-Nassr.

During the same game, Cristiano Ronaldo reacted angrily to Al-Hilal fans. A group of the club’s fans were chanting the name of Messi which rattled the Portuguese. Cristiano Ronaldo then lost his cool and gestured towards the fans to pay attention towards him, since Messi wasn’t on the pitch.
