Cristiano Ronaldo has taken the Saudi Arabian crowd by storm since his arrival in January 2022. He changed the face of football in the Middle Eastern country this summer when big names from Europe followed his footsteps to join the Saudi Pro League. At the age of 38, the Portuguese superstar still amazes his fans on the pitch. However, he has acknowledged that these fun times of scoring almost every game are limited.
Cristiano joined the Saudi Club Al-Nassr in 2022, after a fallout with his former club Manchester United. The 5-times Ballon d’Or winner, at the age of 38, has become the highest-paid player in football history. He signed a $200 million per year contract with the Saudi Arabian club, which will run until 2025. This makes him the highest-paid soccer player in the world, and the highest-paid soccer player of all time.

In a post-match interview, the Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly opened up on his retirement plans as he will turn 39 in February 2024. In that video, the interviewer asks about how Ronaldo keeps up his passion for playing soccer even at the age of 38.
Ronaldo was quoted saying that his love for football is still intact, even though he is quite older now. His sole focus is on scoring goals and winning games for his team. He would continue playing, unless and until his legs say, “Cristiano, it’s finished”. The Portuguese international has promised himself to play till the time he’s fit and can give his 100% for his team in every match.
