The couple was celebrating the British tradition of Pancake Day, which is celebrated a day before Ash Wednesday.
In the video, Victoria playfully calls the former Manchester United soccer star a “tosser” which holds a different meaning in the British dialect. Victoria appreciates her husband’s pancake-tossing technique, calling it “impressive” and then saying “he’s (David) so good.” However, Victoria’s sly innuendos didn’t end there. David asked Victoria, “Darling, what do you want on your pancake? Do you want some of that,” and then proceeded to hold up his own brand of honey.
Victoria chimed in and said, “I love me some sticky stuff. ” Victoria then said, “he is such a tosser,” before bursting into laughter. Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney and his wife, Coleen Rooney, also shared a video of tossing pancakes with their son. However, what was impressive in the 23-year-old’s post was that he tossed the pancake with his eyes closed. After Brooklyn successfully managed to toss the pancake, he challenged his father to do the same.
However, David was quick to appreciate his son’s skills, writing, “I couldn’t do it with my eyes open. Looks like a good pancake.” Brooklyn’s friend and popular musician Selena Gomez also appreciated Brooklyn’s efforts.
