Angel Di Maria recently liked an Instagram post that had fans melting over the players’ bond. The post featured two photos where both players were hugging each other before the recent match. While another one was a throwback picture of their Real Madrid days.

During the friendly match, Di Maria was fouled by the former Manchester United player. The Argentine was seen taking down a loose ball from the air when he noticed Ronaldo close behind him. However, before Ronaldo could chase off the ball, it was flicked off by Di Maria.
The Portuguese, however, ended up clattering with the World Cup winner in an attempt to tackle, thus, resulting in a foul on his former teammate. However, Ronaldo immediately extended his hand in a gesture of apology to the Argentine.
