50 Cent reveals Eminem turned down $8 million to perform at Qatar
50 Cent has revealed that Eminem was offered the chance to make an eye-watering $8 million performing at the football World Cup last year. The offer, which would’ve seen the 50-year-old rapper take home the lion’s share of the money, was reportedly made to him and 50 Cent to play at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. However, the ‘Sing For The Moment’ star decided to turn it down.
He said: “Because of the Super Bowl, I got an inquiry about World Cup and they had a budget of $9 million. I would’ve taken one and then the other eight would have been for him.” 50 Cent – whose real name is Curtis Jackson III – attempted to reach an agreement with Eminem’s representatives, however, the offer was not accepted.
Robbie Williams took part in a show in Qatar during a tournament at the Doha Golf Club and defended his choice, saying it would be hypocritical of him not to do so. It was reported that Dua Lipa, Sir Rod Stewart and Shakira all refused to take part in performances in the country, so Robbie’s decision to take part was made in spite of this.
Who is Eminem’s genderfluid daughter Stevie?
Stevie is the offspring of Kim Scott, Eminem’s ex-wife, and Eric Hartter. Kim and Hartter were romantically involved while she and Eminem were on a break. Hartter, a well-known tattoo artist, passed away in 2020. In 2005, Eminem welcomed Stevie into his family after reconciling with Scott. The two eventually tied the knot in 2006, however, their union did not last as they decided to part ways that same year.
