Lionel Messi seems to be still celebrating Argentina’s emphatic win in the World Cup in Qatar as the superstar has decided to gift gold-plated iPhones to 35 players and staff of the Argentina national team that was part of the World Cup.
According to The Sun, each 24-carat Gold iPhone will cost approximately $186,000 and Lionel Messi has decided to buy 35 of these to share with his fellow superstars who won the greatest prize in soccer in Qatar last year.

Argentina was down and out with a defeat to Saudi Arabia in the very first game but the side came back with a bang and went on a winning streak till the finals where they beat France in a thrilling final which they won on penalties after the game finished 3-3.
It has been reported that Messi is giving the iPhones to his teammates as he wanted to gift them something special but it seems like the fans have spotted a peculiar detail in the photo that has gone viral.
A fan has noticed that a phone engraved with the name of Rodrigo De Paul is sitting beside the phone engraved with Messi’s name as the Atletico Madrid player is famously known for defending Messi against opponents during ugly scenes.
The fan wrote: “Even the phones, De Pauls iPhone is bodygauding Messi’s own”

Another fan reiterated the same thing and stated that Rodrigo De Paul loves Lionel Messi so much that even his phone is sitting beside Messi’s to defend him. De Paul is known for his furious attitude and robust playing style which is at its highest when he is playing beside Messi with Argentina.
The fan wrote: “De Paul is a real body guard.Even his phone can’t help staying next to Messi’ 🤣”

Surely fans do not leave any detail when they go through something and this time it is Rodrigo De Paul’s unending bromance with Lionel Messi that the fans have noticed. Let us now look at another incident where Lionel Messi did something for his Argentine mates.
Lionel Messi paid the salary of AFA security guards
This gifting of iPhones wasn’t the first time Lionel Messi has done something special for his compatriots as the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner was previously in news for his heartwarming gesture towards the security guards of AFA (Argentine Football Association) as he paid their salaries from his own pocket.
The incident goes back to 2015-16 when the Argentine Football Association was in a very messy situation financially after their President was removed from the post following charges of corruption and the association couldn’t pay its security guards their wages for at least 6 months.
Another piece. Lionel Messi paid the Argentina National Team security’s salary for 6 months. They were not paid by AFA. Messi paid them.

It was Lionel Messi who saved the day for both the AFA and the security guards who asked him for help and he asked his father to pay off the entire wages of the security guards that were pending with the AFA but the news didn’t get wide media attention as Messi didn’t want the information to be made public.
