The Paris Saint-Germain team had been rehearsing their free kicks prior to Sunday’s game at the Parc des Princes which ended in a tie. When Neymar took his turn to take the set piece, it was almost as if he was about to blow the 2018 World Cup champion’s head off.
The France international looked on as his partner prepared to kick the ball with his right foot. The shot went flying into the upper left corner, leaving the goalkeeper unable to move as the ball settled into the side of the goal.
Right after Neymar scored, Amazon Prime cameras switched to Kylian Mbappe‘s reaction. He had an approving expression on his face, nodding and scrunching up his features to show his pleasure at the moment. The broadcaster’s commentators could not help but be amused, with French soccer legend Thierry Henry smiling widely as they responded to Mbappe’s astonishment.
