Gerard Pique’s ex-partner Shakira has been the talk of the town since her meetup with Tom Cruise at the Miami Grand Prix. Cruise, one of the finest Hollywood actors, reportedly was head over heels for Shakira. There were reports claiming that Cruise was romantically pursuing the Colombian pop star. However, until now, no comments from either party were made.
Shakira, however, seems to have made her intentions known to the public. A source close to Elle has revealed that Shakira has read about the reports of Cruise pursuing her. However, she does not believe them. Shakira apparently had a great time with the 60-year-old Hollywood star but she is not ready to date again.

“Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him,” the source said. “He was really nice, and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids [Sasha, 8, and Milan, 10] and career for now.”
“Shakira has seen the online rumors that Tom has been courting her—and how fans are chiming in with their opinions—but she thinks it’s hilarious because it’s just not true,” the source said. “She had a fun time when they chatted, but that’s as far as things have gone.”
Reports earlier even claimed that Cruise sent flowers to Shakira in order to pursue her. However, these are still unconfirmed rumors. The pair did seem to enjoy their time when they met on Race Day. Max Verstappen won the race in Miami after bouncing back from a ninth-place start.
Shakira enjoyed a boat ride with Lewis Hamilton after the Miami Grand Prix
The Colombian singer was just one of the members of the star-studded audience at the Miami GP. However, after the race, very few get the opportunity to spend their time with the most successful driver on the grid. Shakira got that opportunity as she was seen enjoying a boat ride with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton.
On the other hand, this is not the only occasion they were seen together after the race. Shakira and Hamilton were also spotted at the lavish restaurant Cipriani a few days ago.

A dinner after the race followed by a boat ride with Hamilton and friends a few days later, something seems to be brewing between Shakira and the British driver. Sources close to The Sun, however, have stated the opposite. They termed the pair as “close friends” and said there is no “romantic connection.”
It has not been long since the ‘Waka waka’ singer moved to Miami with her kids after her difficult separation from former FC Barcelona defender Pique. However, it seems like Shakira will settle in just well.
