While Cristiano Ronaldo may have incensed a few United fans, he is not wrong about the state of things at the club. United fans should be able to see past their anger at Ronaldo for disrespecting Erik ten Hag and Ralf Rangnick. If they want the Glazers to sell the club, they should look into and use everything Ronaldo has said regarding the state of facilities at the club, not just the comments on the managers.
What do we know so far?
Ronaldo gave a huge interview with Piers Morgan and many explosive quotes. On the state of the facilities and ownership at the club, Ronaldo had a lot to say. He said, “Nothing changed since I left. The pool, the jacuzzi, even the gym, and even some technology. Even the chefs who I appreciate, are lovely people. I thought I would see new technology and infrastructure. I saw things I saw when I was 20!”.

On United trying to force him out, Ronaldo said, “Man United tried to force me out. Not only the manager but also the other guys who are around the club. I felt betrayed”. “I feel that some people didn’t want me at Manchester United, not only this year but last season too. Manchester United has betrayed me.”
On Erik ten Hag and Ralf Rangnick, Ronaldo said, “I don’t have respect for Erik ten Hag because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you’re (Ralf Rangnick) not even a coach, how are you going to be the boss of Man Utd? I’d never even heard of him.”
“Since Sir Alex Ferguson left I saw no evolution in the club, the progress was zero.”

On the state and glory of United, Ronaldo said, “A club of this size should be at the top, but this is not the case, there are no excuses. Here the progress has been ZERO since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club”.
On Wayne Rooney‘s criticism, “I don’t know why he criticizes me so badly… probably because he finished his career and I’m still playing at a high level. I’m not going to say that I’m looking better than him. Which is true.” He also commented on how United was disrespectful of his wishes to miss pre-season when he had lost one of his children, and his three-month-old daughter was in the hospital.
