It looks like Jude Bellingham has struck a chord at Real Madrid. The 20-year-old seems to enjoy playing at the La Liga-based club. Real Madrid’s fortunes have also taken a turn since the youngster has started to turn up the heat with his lethal on-pitch performances.
Jude Bellingham has been on fire this season. The 20-year-old has already bagged eight goals for Real Madrid in his first nine appearances. He has topped it up with three assists also. However, now the reports reveal the identity of the individual who convinced the Englishman to join Real Madrid.
As per the reports, it’s Brazil’s number eighteen Vinicius Junior. He has recently stated – “I wanted Jude at Real Madrid! I sent many messages to Bellingham last year”. The 23-year-old further inflicted that he’s been messaging his current teammate every day and was pursuing him to join him at Real Madrid.

Bellingham signed for Real Madrid in July 2023. His current contract at the club is proposed to run till June 2029. He joined the La Liga club after leaving the Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. For Dortmund, he played in 132 matches. The 20-year-old scored 24 goals for the German side while having 25 assists contributions at the club.
Vinicius Junior joined Real Madrid in the middle part of the year 2018. He has played in a total of 231 matches for the Spanish club till now. The Brazilian had an impressive tally of 125 goal contributions for his team so far. The player seems to be doing better at the club since his 20-year-old English counterpart has arrived. Real Madrid fans would want both the players to continue doing well.

Real Madrid were trailing 1-0 against Napoli in their second Champions League match of the season. Vinicius Junior scored in the 27th minute to bring them back into the match. Vinicius was assisted by his 20-year-old English counterpart Jude. A Few minutes later, the England youngster netted himself to give his club the lead over Serie A Napoli.
Jude Bellingham received the ball just beyond midfield and dribbled through Napoli’s entire defense all the way to goal before putting it away.
He also assisted Vinicius’ goal just seven minutes prior.

Real Madrid’s number five barged past the opponent’s defense and dribbled his way up to the box. He then finished his move and scored. However, Napoli hit back and scored again to bring the tie back to 2-2. But, Real Madrid prevailed and managed to win the game 2-3 with Napoli’s Alex Meret’s own goal in the 78th minute of the game.
With this win, Real Madrid jumped to the top of the standings in their Champions League group table. They have won both of their opening matches of the competition and have registered six points. The Spanish club earlier defeated the Bundesliga side Union Berlin 1-0 in their first Champions League match of this season.
