Lionel Messi was subjected to harsh criticism recently for walking straight down the tunnel after the match. The incident happened in PSG’s game against Rennes which the French Champions lost 2-0.
Messi was seen fuming and walked straight down the tunnel after the final whistle. He has since come under huge criticism as fans think that the Argentine should have stayed to applaud the home fans after the embarrassing loss.
A fan believed that if Cristiano Ronaldo had done the same, he would have been hated by everybody. They indicated that Messi doesn’t get the same criticism even when he does wrong but Ronaldo is criticized harshly at every opportunity.

Another fan defended Messi for his actions and stated that PSG fans booed him throughout the game. On the other hand, Cristiano was cheered by Manchester United fans, yet he chose to betray them with his actions.

Cristiano had previously come under massive criticism and was even punished by Erik ten Hag. He refused to come on as a late substitute in a Premier League game and left the stadium early. The events then transpired into a huge saga that ended with Ronaldo mutually terminating his contract with the club.
Fans have compared Messi’s actions after the game against Rennes to that of Ronaldo. Some fans believe that what Messi did was unprofessional while others think that the Argentine was right as the PSG fans booed him.

Fans cannot stop talking about the curse that Kim Kardashian has bought to Arsenal and PSG. The American celebrity was recently seen at the Emirates stadium while she was also in attendance at Parc des Princes for PSG’s game against Rennes.

While both the teams were on unbeaten runs before their games attended by Kim, they embarrassingly lost when she attended the games. Arsenal faced Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League recently and was knocked out of the tournament by the Portuguese side in an upsetting defeat at home.
PSG also faced the curse as they went down against Rennes after conceding goals on either side of halftime. Kylian Mbappe had a couple of close chances set up by Lionel Messi, but the forward failed to convert them.
Other sides would have taken notice of the situation and would hesitate to give tickets to Kardashian for their games. PSG would want to bounce back hard in their next game after the international break.
