IShowSpeed is one of the most trending and popular YouTubers on the internet. He has made a name for himself for being a huge fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. Yesterday, he reacted to one of the most iconic matches of the season between Manchester United and FC Barcelona.
Darren Watkins Jr. aka IShowSpeed went viral last year for his unique antics and for announcing himself as a fan of Cristiano. And as we all know Lionel Messi is the arch-rival of Speed’s idol, and he has also done everything to slag him off. Speed has declared Ronaldo as the GOAT, despite Messi winning the World Cup last year.
Yesterday, Lionel Messi’s former team Barcelona and Ronaldo’s former team Manchester United fought out one of the classics of the season. So, it is not a surprise that the 17-year-old YouTuber will bet against Barcelona. Quite surprisingly though the La Liga table toppers were knocked out of the round of 32 stage of the Europa League.

Speed is quite well-known for being blunt and straightforward about his opinions. And expectedly enough he wasn’t afraid to let us know how he felt about Barcelona after the match was over. He Tweeted a very short message after the match it said, “Barcelona shit,” and it has almost 3 million views so far.
In the replies section of the same tweet, he wrote another short message, “plz start Garnacho he’s so good.” It is also related to Ronaldo as United starlet Alejandro Garnacho is a huge fan of the Portuguese despite being an Argentinean. Garnacho made a huge difference when he came on in the second half.
How Manchester United impressed IShowSpeed with their performance
Manchester United and FC Barcelona is a Champions League knock-out stage classic. However, both the teams have been in some trouble and they clashed in a round of 32 match in the Europa League. Although the match was not about any trophy, it still carried a massive magnitude. The anticipation was extremely high.
Last week these two teams fought out a nerve-wracking 2-2 draw at Camp Nou. The return leg to the iconic Old Trafford had a great build-up to it. Barcelona was missing their young starlet duo Gavi and Pedri. While United was also devoid of their midfield maestro Christian Eriksen. The match started at a great pace, with both teams going in for it.
Barca left back Alejandro Balde made a fantastic start and put Bruno Fernandes and Wan-Bissaka in trouble. Things went gloomy for United when Bruno fouled Balde inside the box and Robert Lewandowski barely converted the penalty in the 18th minute. Barcelona made Manchester United look miserable for the rest of the first half.

Erik ten Hag took of Weghorst and brought in Antony at the very start of the second half. He changed the entire system by putting Jadon Sancho on the left wing, Bruno as the attacking midfielder, Rashford as a striker, and Antony on the right.
The results were evident when in the 47th minute Fred scored a beautiful right-footed goal to Stegen’s left-hand post. United took full charge when Antony curled in a beautiful shot with his left foot in the 73rd minute and made it 2-1 for United for the night and 4-3 on aggregate. Manchester United passed on a massive statement and showed every aspect to believe that, they will return back to their glory days soon.
