SUMMARY
- Recently, a fan asked Jose Mourinho about his return to Chelsea.
- Mourinho replied to the fan with an uncentain expression.
Former Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho got ‘The Special One’ tag during his managerial stint with the Premier League side. The Portuguese took the club to multiple titles and engraved a winning mentality into the team by using his skills and tactics as a top manager.
However, recently, a Chelsea fan asked Jose Mourinho about a probable return to the Blues. The fan named Shargi asserted, “Hello Jose, Chelsea fans love you very much from all over the world and hope you return to Chelsea”. However, the fan didn’t get the apt response, maybe as he thought.

To the statement of the fan, Jose responded by asserting, “Thank you, my friend, but Chelsea is not the Chelsea we know.” The Blues fan seemed reluctant to give up and further asked the 61-year-old, “What if an offer was made to you in the summer, would you come?” Jose answered the fan’s query with an uncertain expression.
However, from the initial response by the Portugal manager, it can be pointed out that he isn’t very pumped up by the thought of going back to Chelsea, especially taking into consideration the club’s recent below-par form in the top flight of English soccer.
Mauricio Pochettino under pressure at Chelsea amidst Jose Mourinho’s return speculation
Chelsea’s current manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has once again come under hot water after his side dropped crucial two points against Brentford at the Gtech Stadium in their previous Premier League clash. A draw didn’t benefit the Londoners much as they stayed 11th in the table, at some distance of probable European spots.

While one can give Mauricio Pochettino the benefit of the doubt that he is managing quite a young group of players, it is quite clear that he hasn’t been able to get consistent performances out of them. On the other hand, rumored reports signaling a potential Jose Mourinho return at Stamford Bridge are further piling the pressure on Pochettino.
Jose Mourinho’s performance as a Chelsea Manager
The Portuguese veteran manager Jose Mourinho led Chelsea to the Premier League title twice during his stay at the club. The 61-year-old created a unique identity for himself in the soccer world on the back of his supreme in-game management and a magnifying touch-line presence.
Jose managed Chelsea for about two and a half years. His stint with the Blues began in July 2013 and lasted until December 2015. He took charge of the club in a total of 136 matches, winning 80 games out of them, drawing 27, and losing 29 of them. Jose’s win percentage with the English side stands at 58.82 percent.
The major change that was witnessed in Chelsea’s playing patterns under Jose Mourinho was the free-flowing nature of their attacking play. The Portuguese manager oversaw players like Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba, and Diego Costa during his reign at the Premier League club.
