Former UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov reacted to the tribute paid to him by Manchester City stars Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish. Haaland and Grealish uploaded a video of themselves making a gesture that was made famous by Khabib. They pointed to the heavens in the video uploaded by Umar Nurmagomedov, cousin of Khabib. Khabib did not miss the gesture. He reposted it on his Instagram story and captioned it, “I see you guys.”

One of the greatest fighters in the UFC, Khabib retired with a 29-0 undefeated record. He was the longest-reigning UFC Lightweight Champion ever and the Russian believes it is all nothing in front of God.
“You go to mosque because nobody’s perfect,” Nurmagomedov explained, according to Los Angeles Times. “Everybody makes mistakes, and we have to ask Allah to forgive us. This is very important mentally, to be clear with Allah. This is not about the UFC. There is nothing else more important to me than being clear with Allah. And being clear with Allah is the No. 1 most hard thing in life.”
His belief in his faith is where this gesture stems from. He points to himself and shows that he is nothing and points to heaven and says that God is everything.
Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish star in Manchester City’s win over Bournemouth
Manchester City kept their pursuit of the Premier League title hot as they earned a 1-4 win over Bournemouth after Arsenal won 0-1 against Leicester City.
City dominated their relegation-threatened opponents at the Vitality Stadium from the start. Julian Alvarez opened the scoring after 15 minutes. Next, it was Haaland’s turn to get on the scoresheet. The marksman was ready to pounce and tap the ball home. This was his 27th Premier League goal. With this, he breaks Sergio Aguero’s record of the most goals scored in a Premier League season for Manchester City.
“His [Haaland] impact has been incredible,” City manager Pep Guardiola said, according to ESPN. “We love him and he’s making a lot of goals. Today … we found him more. He’s an incredible threat to our opponents, so we’re very pleased.”

On the half-time mark, Phillip Billings’ slack pass was pounced upon by Phil Foden, who scored City’s third. Just six minutes into the second half, Chris Mepham diverted Alvarez’s shot into his own net to increase City’s lead to four. Haaland and Grealish were taken off together in the 72nd minute for Maximeo Perrone and Riyad Mahrez, respectively. Jefferson Lerma scored a consolation for Bournemouth in the 83rd minute.
Arsenal has notched up 57 points in 24 games. Meanwhile, City has earned 55 points in 25 games. Guardiola and Mikel Arteta are set for a nerve-wracking fight for the title.
