IShowSpeed had some strong words for Manchester United as they suffered a second defeat in a row in the UEFA Champions League. The famous YouTuber announced that he will no longer be a Manchester United fan as he is switching his allegiance to a new club.
Manchester United suffered a 3-2 defeat to the Turkish club, Galatasaray, at Old Trafford. This was their second defeat in two matches, which puts them last in their group. After the abysmal performance, IShowSpeed aka Speed, took it to X to share his thoughts.
Speed tweeted: “That’s it. That seals the deal. I am no longer a United fan. I’ve been a United member since 1987 and a season ticket holder since 1999. I’m not going to renew my season ticket. Ten Hag and Onana are outlawed as of today. I will become a fan of Al Nassr now, where they actually know how to run a football club.”

The YouTuber announced that he is leaving Manchester United to support Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. He joked how he has been a fan since 1987 and a season ticket holder since 1999. However, seeing the performances this season by the English club, he is moving to the Saudi Pro League just like his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fellow YouTuber, KSI, who is an Arsenal fan, reacted to the tweet by laughing emojis, to which Speed responded by pointing out that Arsenal also lost their match against Lens in their UCL matchup. Then the duo went on a back and forth of a typical Arsenal vs. Manchester United banter of league positions and European trophies.
Al-Nassr response to IShowSpeed
Speed started supporting Manchester United due to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo back in 2021. However, his second stint of Ronaldo ended on a bitter note, leading to his move to Al-Nassr in 2023. IShowSpeed is on his way to replicating the same story as a fan.
The tweet from Speed went viral on X reaching with more than 19 million views on the social media site. Al-Nassr also responded to Speed by quote-tweeting the original tweet. The Saudi club’s official X account replied by stating that Speed is already a part of their family and they can’t wait to see him at the Victory Arena, the home of Al-Nassr FC.

Unlike Manchester United, Al-Nassr is back in form with a winning streak of 10 matches in all competitions. The club is benefitting from the lethal partnership of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané.
They currently sit 4th in the Saudi Pro League, two points from league leaders Al-Hilal. They are top of their group in the AFC Champions League with back-to-back victories in the first two group stage matches.
The Saudi club is now focused on their upcoming match in the league against Abha FC. After the game, the club will take a 15-day break for the second international break for the season.
