Cristiano Ronaldo could return to Real Madrid very soon, however, he will not be returning as a player. Ronaldo could return to Real Madrid as an ambassador for the club.

The soccer player could retire as a player and come back to Madrid. However, Cristiano Ronaldo still has two years left in his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. The contract is set to run its course till June 2025.

Ronaldo hasn’t always had the best time at Real Madrid. The player, however, was one of the brightest stars of Los Blancos. Ronaldo also had a violent episode with one of his teammates. However, that was before they were even teammates, to begin with.

Ronaldo loggerheads with Marcelo Vieira before they were teammates at Real Madrid. Portugal lost 6-2 to Brazil in a friendly match. Ronaldo was seen holding Marcelo by his neck due to a foul committed against him. They were broken apart by Thiago Silva before things could escalate any further.

The duo, however, ended up becoming best friends at Real Madrid. Ronaldo now plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, whereas Marcelo plays for Fluminense FC. Furthermore, Marcelo is also engaged in a side business besides soccer. The player now has a barber shop in Rio de Janeiro.

It comes as no surprise to the fans, as the player was already known to be a professional hairdresser in the Real Madrid locker room.

Marcelo risks the wrath of Cristiano Ronaldo with Lionel Messi’s praise

Marcelo has admitted that Lionel Messi is one of the toughest opponents that he ever faced. The Brazilian made that comment despite facing Cristiano Ronaldo as an opponent earlier in his career.

Many believed that Marcelo, Ronaldo, and co. were involved in one of the best El-Classico eras of all time. Lionel Messi was the talisman for Barcelona at that time.

Marcelo confessed in an interview that Messi was indeed the toughest opponent he ever faced. The player admitted, “Messi is incredible, the toughest opponent I’ve ever faced. We all know the quality he has even now, aged 35, and before it was the same.

“El Clasico has always been one of the best games to watch and play. I was lucky enough to have been featured in one of the best eras of Clasicos. But it wasn’t just Messi, there were other players who were also incredible.” Marcelo did not shy away from praising his best friend Ronaldo’s arch-rival Lionel Messi.
