Kevin De Bruyne has arguably been one of the best players in the Premier League and the whole world for quite a few years now with the Belgian impressing one and all with his range of passing but recently he has garnered praise for his ‘dodging’ skills which are akin to a certain UFC fighter, Brock Lesnar.
De Bruyne was subjected to anger and hatred by Arsenal fans as they threw bottles at him during the match between Arsenal and Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium. But De Bruyne was too quick to recognize the danger and dodged the bottles comfortably while walking on the touchline staring at the Arsenal fans in a moment that was filled with courage.
De Bruyne has always been considered a doppelganger of famous UFC and WWE fighter, Brock Lesnar and the fans were quick to notice how the Belgian midfielder dodged the bottles thrown at him with a certain swiftness just like Brock and jokingly called Brock his ‘father.’

Kevin De Bruyne on the scoresheet as Man City pip Arsenal to go top of the PL table
Defending Champions Manchester City pipped past the challenge of league leaders Arsenal as the Manchester side beat the Gunners with a convincing 3 goals to 1 and went top of the Premier League table based on goal difference but Arsenal does have a game in hand over City.
Arsenal started the game on the front foot creating chances but the ever-present Kevin De Bruyne capitalized on a faulty back pass by Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu and gave the champions a lead in the 24th minute. Bukayo Saka equalized for Arsenal in the 42nd minute through a penalty kick and both teams entered the first half at parity.

Man City came out into the second half with much more intensity than Arsenal as Pep made some tweaks to the tactics which bore fruit in the 72nd minute after Jack Grealish put Man City into the lead. The game was sealed by the Norwegian Erling Haaland in the 82nd minute who finished a pin-point pass from Kevin De Bruyne to win the game for the champions.
The defeat is Arsenal’s second against City in recent weeks as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to City a couple of weeks back in the FA Cup. Arsenal’s slump in form in recent weeks has meant that the title race has once again been thrown open with City and Arsenal at parity on points while Manchester United lurk for their opportunity 5 points behind the two sides.
