Social media handles of many people have been hacked in recent times, with British journalist Piers Morgan joining the list. In a day and age where eminent personalities like Elon Musk, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates have been hacked, one would have to assume that no one is truly safe from the menacing hackers.
Even the former President of The United States, Barrack Obama, has been hacked previously. Carrying on the trend of hacking celebrities, Piers Morgan’s Twitter account has been hacked. What followed was a flurry of tweets from Morgan‘s official handle.

The tweets made no real sense. Nearly all famous personalities who have recently been in the news, from Queen Elizabeth to Lionel Messi, are featured in these tweets. The hacker, it seems, wanted to give their take on all topics that are currently relevant. Internet sensation Andrew Tate, who has been ‘canceled’ online, was also featured in one of the tweets.

One tweet stood out in particular, in which the hacker impersonating Piers Morgan tweeted: “Mbappe owns Messi.” It seems that the hacker is not the biggest fan of the result of the Final game of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Argentina defeated France on penalties in the final to lift the World Cup for the first time since 1986. Lionel Messi scored twice, while Kylian Mbappe bagged a hat trick. Mbappe became the first man to score a World Cup final hat trick since Geoff Hurst in 1966. However, the Frenchman’s heroics weren’t enough to guide France to a successive FIFA World Cup victory.
Piers Morgan, who is a famous Cristiano Ronaldo fan, gets his account suspended after hacking incident
Piers Morgan is famously dubbed a Cristiano Ronaldo ‘fanboy’ after his unrelenting support for the ex-Manchester United forward. Morgan interviewed Ronaldo before the World Cup in a one-on-one. It was in the aftermath of this interview that Ronaldo and Manchester United parted ways.
Since then, the British Journalist has been all praises for Cristiano Ronaldo. He is a passionate Ronaldo supporter which was further outlined by his comments on British Broadcaster BBC after the Argentina vs Australia game in the World Cup.
Morgan wrote on Twitter: “The relentless Messi fangirling by the whole BBC punditry team is getting excruciatingly obsequious. Getting worried one of them might have an ‘accident’ in the studio. Calm yourselves, lads. He had a good game against an average side. See how he does against a good team.”

After his account was hacked, Messi and Mbappe were the ones who were featured the most in the tweets. Cristiano Ronaldo was not mentioned in the tweets posted by the hacker. A while later, the account was suspended by Twitter.
