Piers Morgan has made a habit of being the talk of the soccer world of late.
Morgan is a British journalist and TV personality. The Englishman famously made headlines before the commencement of the FIFA World Cup 2022. While being a part of quintessential media programs for the British audience such as Piers Morgan Live and Good Morning Britain, Morgan’s latest venture, Piers Morgan Uncensored has taken the internet by storm and has been responsible for the most number of hits that the journalist has received on his social media handles of late.
Back in November, before the World Cup in Qatar kicked off, the 57-year-old interviewed Cristiano Ronaldo. After a less-than-ideal start to the 2022-23 season, the ex-Manchester United player was unimpressed with the stagnation at his former club and gave an explosive interview about the same. Ronaldo made an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored to provide the general public with a piece of his mind.

In this interview, the 37-year-old talked about the lack of equipment and infrastructural changes around the Carrington training ground since before his move to Real Madrid. This was only the tip of the iceberg as Ronaldo’s words would go on to sting Manchester United fans as the Portuguese captain went on to make comments about United’s ownership and even their manager. Shortly after the interview, the Manchester club and the Portuguese legend parted ways.
Lately, in the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2022 Final between Argentina and France, the journalist has once again made headlines by making his prediction for the game.
The prediction was followed by a controversial comment about Lionel Messi which did not go down well with the La Albiceleste faithful.
PREDICTION: France will beat Argentina 3-1 to win the World Cup. Mbappe will score twice, Griezmann will be MoM and Messi will cry.

This is what Piers Morgan’s prediction tweet said:
Piers Morgan brands Cristiano Ronaldo the GOAT over Lionel Messi
I think Cristiano Ronaldo’s the best ever, Maradona 2nd, Messi 3rd (possibly 4th actually, behind R9). https://t.co/hg58A9lqhb
