It has been reported that one fan from the home team made monkey gestures towards the Frenchman. Movistar’s camera footage revealed the whole incident, and the accused in this regard looks underage. The same fan also threw water bottles at the Real Madrid players when they were celebrating the club’s 1-0 victory.
Mallorca fans have earned notoriety by continuously targeting Real Madrid players. In the 22/23 season as well, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. was abused by a section of Mallorca fans. Moreover, the Brazilian has been regularly racially abused by fans of certain La Liga clubs.
And even after Real Madrid’s repeated complaints, and the player’s social media activism, the La Liga authorities have done nothing in truth to prevent racism in the Spanish soccer system. Moreover, the fact that the accused in Tchouameni’s case is underage, goes on to show how racism is so systematic and deep-rooted in Spain.

Aurelien’s goal secured an important victory for Real Madrid against Mallorca
Despite the racist encounter, Aurelien Tchouameni had a crucial role to play in the game. The Frenchman scored the winner in the game against Mallorca that ended 1-0. Aurelien’s goal came in the 48th minute when his long-range shot swerved right into the top right corner. The Real Madrid bench was ecstatic to see the Frenchman score such a wonderful goal.
Carlo Ancelloti had rested quite a few players in the game versus Mallorca considering their upcoming fixture in the UEFA Champions League. The likes of Vinicius Jr., Camavinga, and Dani Carvajal were all substitutes who entered the pitch in the 2nd half.
Besides that goal, Real Madrid could not take any of its chances. ‘Los Blancos’ were presented with plenty of chances, but its players were pretty wasteful in front of the goal. La Liga’s top scorer Jude Bellingham hit the post in the 1st half, while Brahim Diaz wasted two great chances to score in the 2nd half. with the win, Real Madrid (78) went eight points clear of FC Barcelona (70) at the top of La Liga table.
‘Los Blancos’ will now travel to Manchester to take on Manchester City in the second leg of the UCL QFs which is tied 3-3 on aggregate. The Spanish team will hope to clinch the tie away from home and keep the dream of winning their 15th UCL title alive.
