There is a lot going on at PSG at this moment. Most of the stuff revolving around PSG is negative. Amid all this Neymar Jr.’s commitment to the fans has left them split.
PSG are going through a difficult spell currently. Two men out of the iconic attacking trio are out with short-term injuries. Kylian Mbappe got himself injured in a league match against Montpellier. Before getting off injured though, Mbappe missed two penalties and was trolled heavily after the match.
Lionel Messi was absolutely pivotal in Mbappe’s absence. Neymar had a short-term injury as well. The 35-year-old World Cup winner helped PSG win a few on the road. But to PSG’s dismay, Messi got a hamstring injury in their Coupe de France round of 16 exit match. A toothless PSG crashed out of the competition after beating non-league Pays de Cassal by comprehensive seven goals.
All the responsibilities are on Neymar now. And it’s safe to say he hasn’t been able to provide the performances, that were expected of him. The Brazilian has also been the center of a recent dressing room feud. Yesterday however he came out and released a statement.
Neymar: “I understand the criticism but I feel very good. I will keep playing at my best for Paris Saint-Germain and I’ll do that until the end of the season”. 🔵🔴🇧🇷 #PSG
“I trust myself, I’ve big confidence and we will try to show the best version of PSG”. pic.twitter.com/Qngh5jCACd

Fabrizio Romano revealed the news on his Twitter account. Neymar said, “I understand the criticism but I feel very good. I will keep playing at my best for Paris Saint-Germain and I’ll do that until the end of the season.” He added to it, “I trust myself, I’ve big confidence and we will try to show the best version of PSG,” by talking about how confident he is right now.
Is he getting sold at the end of the season Fab? That statement suggests he only stays until the summer

The fans, however, have been suspicious and seemingly not buying Neymar’s words. Most of the are thinking that the Brazilian is trying to get out of the French capital.
Neymar caused chaos in the dressing room after Monaco loss
Neymar’s comment is followed by his bizarre behavior in the dressing room. Fans are also doubtful because in the statement he mostly talked specifically about the end of this season and not about the future. The media and the fans are suspecting that Neymar will play out of his skin to earn a move out of PSG in the summer.
After PSG was dislodged by Marseille in the Coupe de France, they had another crushing result. Messi and Mbappe both missed the vital league match against Monaco. Monaco played PSG around the park and earned a very easy 3-1 win. Neymar was furious with his young teammates Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike. The 31-year-old heavily scolded them for lack of attitude and poor decision-making.
PSG’s assistant coach Luis Campos criticized the players for negative body language and no hunger on the pitch. But Neymar and another Brazilian superstar Marquinhos flinched at Campos and said that they do not deserve the criticism.
🚨 Neymar clashed with team-mates before being involved in a heated dressing room row with PSG chief Luis Campos following Saturday’s defeat at Monaco.

There is a possibility of Mbappe’s comeback before the first leg of the Champions League knock-out match against Bayern Munich. However, Leo Messi remains a big doubt in terms of availability. PSG fans will hope to see their Brazilian talisman turn up in the most important fixture of the season so far.
