Three-time FIFA world cup winner, Brazilian star, and beloved soccer legend Pele was admitted to the hospital a few days ago. It was last year that Pele had a tumor removed from his colon after beginning the battle against cancer shortly after being diagnosed with bowel cancer in August 2021.
Since then, the 82-year-old has been on Chemotherapy.
Of late, as per reports, the Brazilian legend has stopped responding to chemotherapy and has since been moved to palliative care as a precautionary measure.
Doctors are of the opinion that cancer has metastasized to Pele’s lungs as well as the liver. Since then he has been complaining of pain and shortness of breath. This is the reason why he has been shifted to palliative care so that he can be treated in a better manner.
Since then, however, the man himself took to Instagram to send a message to his well-wishers and give an update on his health.
