A viral video of YouTube sensation IShowSpeed claims that the Cristiano Ronaldo that we have been seeing since 2014 is a robot. It is an AI created by a human and not the Ronaldo that we had been seeing before 2014. In the video, it says the Ronaldo that we see now playing at Al-Nassr is the real deal. However, at some point in the video, it is also revealed that the real Ronaldo died in 2016.
Here’s the transcript of the contradictory claims in the video: “biggest scandal in football history: Officials have found the real story behind Real Madrid Legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner had to give up on his career after a career-ending injury in 2014 season against Real Betis. Most people claim to have seen a clear image of him winning three Champions League in a row.
“After further investigations made by the officials, the Ronaldo you see today playing in Al-Nassr is the true Ronaldo and the Ronaldo who played since 2014 till now is a robotic AI Ronaldo made by Peter Lim. No one knew this till now not even Georgina Rodriguez or Marcelo. He’s supposedly dead from 2016. If you’re one of the people who claimed to see him playing in Al-Nassr, you need to seek a medical doctor as fast as possible. The Mandela virus is growing rapidly..”
After this, Speed is shown screaming and moving away from the camera. However, there is no reality to this claim. Firstly, it is contradictory in itself. Secondly, something of the sort is impossible. Also, thirdly, the Mandela virus, as said in the video, is a made-up disease. There is no illness named the Mandela virus.
Is Cristiano Ronaldo a robot?
Anyone making a claim about the Portuguese star being a robot says so because of the unbelievable things he does on the soccer field. His jumps to claim headers, his speed, and his physique at the age of 38. All of these and more compile to make people believe he is a robot. His highest jump was in the 2012/13 season of the UEFA Champions League against Manchester United. He jumped to a height of 2.93m (9ft 7in) to score with a header.
However, with this, people expect more and more inhuman things from Ronaldo. People need to understand he is not actually a robot. Expectations from him grow so much that multiple people from the soccer world have had to claim that he is not a robot. And that people should stop expecting so much.
Louis Saha:
“Ronaldo has been disrespected. I have not fully agreed with Ten Hag. I can understand why CR7 was upset after the Newcastle game cuz he trusts himself to score, lately, he has not been as lucky & efficient, it happens, & people need to realise he is not a robot.” pic.twitter.com/bVK0EffUcf

The latest on the list is Louis Saha. He said, “Ronaldo has been disrespected. I have not fully agreed with the management of Ten Hag. I can understand why Ronaldo was upset after the Newcastle game because he trusts himself to score, lately, he has not been as lucky and efficient, it happens, and people need to realize he is not a robot.”
Former Real Madrid teammate Alvaro Morata also said the same when people called out Ronaldo for one poor performance. Roberto Mancini did the same as well.
