- Recently, a video featuring Blink-182 went viral on social media.
- The Blink-182 members were trolling the France soccer team.
Argentina’s 2022 World Cup win was truly a landmark event in the South American country’s soccer history. Lionel Messi and Co. ended the 36-year-old wait for the coveted trophy on December 18, 2022. The Argentine players had to defeat the mighty France in the final at the Lusail Stadium, which they did in a brave performance. A victory for the ages, Argentina’s World Cup still resonates in its citizens’ hearts.
This was proved in the latest incident that involved the famous American rock band Blink-182. However, the viral video about the incident won’t go through too well with the French fans.
Blink-182 member trolls France Soccer Team
The American rock band headlined the Lolapalooza event in Argentina on March 15, 2024. The Argentine fans loved the band’s performance as the crowd looked to groove in Blink-182’s music. However, soon the music performance delved into the realm of sports as well. Blink-182 co-vocalist Mark Hoppus would soon take the mic, and in an attempt to impress the Argentine crowd, he insulted the country of France.
The singer looked pretty elated with his band’s performance as he declared, “We are Blink-182 and we f*cking made it.” However, the controversy erupted after Mark said, “First of all, thank you,” which he then supplemented by the words, “Second Francia (France), Not 1st, second Francia.”

The crowd went mad after their beloved singer mentioned Argentina’s brave win in the FIFA World Cup 2022 final. French Blink-182 fans would be cursing the likes of Randal Kolo Muani, Kingsley Coman, and Aurelien Tchouameni. Kolo Muani had missed a 1v1 chance against Argentine keeper Emiliano Martinez, while the other two could not perform their penalty duties well in the shootout of the final.
Argentina reveals its Copa America 2024 Kits
It seems that the South American nation cannot wait to defend its Copa America title in 2024. The 2024 edition of the Elite Tournament will be held in 14 cities in the United States of America. In preparation for the tournament, Argentina has already launched the kits for the tournament. And it must be said, Adidas, the team’s kit supplier, has done an incredible job designing the kits.

The home kit follows the traditional ‘La Albiceleste’ color scheme of sky blue and white. However, Argentina’s German kit supplier has added shades of gold to its crest and the brand logo to give it the look of a champion’s kit. The home kit looks extremely clean and sharp and would suit the team pretty well when it begins its title defense on March 21, 2024, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Adidas has experimented with the away kit terrifically. The away kit features a royal blue base color and is one of the most beautiful kits for the summer of 2024. It is safe to say that both kits would attract a lot of buyers who love to cheer on their favorite team wearing the two beautiful jerseys.
