Gerard Pique‘s ex-partner Shakira has apparently stolen the heart of one of the most admired Hollywood superstars. 60-year-old Tom Cruise is said to be pursuing the Colombian pop star with all his heart. Reports suggest that he has an interest in Shakira and is pursuing a romantic relationship with her considering both are single.
A source of Page Six revealed the details of this story. The source said: “He is extremely interested in pursuing her. There is chemistry.”
“Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom,” said the source. It also claimed that Tom is highly-acclaimed and good-looking so that gets checked off as well. Although Tom won the title of the sexiest man alive in 1990, 33 years later, today, he still is no less good-looking.

Tom came into the fray out of nowhere recently. He was never talked about before when speculations were on about who would Shakira date next. However, it is the Miami Grand Prix that could be credited if something ever happens between Tom and Shakira.

Both celebrities were present on the F1 Race Day in Miami. They were among many other celebrities including tennis royalty — the Williams sisters, and Roger Federer.

The current World Champion Max Verstappen put up another show of his class on the track as he won the Miami GP. He started the race in ninth place but climbed his way into the top spot magnificently. Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez, Max’s Red Bull teammate came in second. Red Bull pulled off a brilliant one-two finish as Shakira, Tom Cruise, and others watched on.
Reports suggest that Tom was so into the idea of pursuing Shakira that he even sent her flowers. Shakira has two sons with Pique while Tom has three children — two with Nicole Kidman and one with Katie Holmes.

It all started back in 2010 for Shakira and Pique as they met on the sets of the ‘Waka waka’ song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Things escalated at their own pace for the couple and they decided to confirm their relationship in May 2011.
The next big milestone in their life came in the middle of 2012 when the couple announced their first pregnancy. In January 2013, Milan, their first son was born.
An important point in their relationship was when Shakira said she will not get married. In 2014, Shakira told Glamour of her relationship with Pique: “We already have what’s essential, you know? We have a union, a love for each other, and a baby. I think that those aspects of our relationship are already established, and marriage is not going to change them.” However, the Colombian singer admitted, “But if I’m ever going to get married, he’s the one.”
In January 2015, the couple rejoiced. Their second son, Sasha, was born. In April 2017, Shakira released a song about her love story with Pique. It was titled “Me Enamoré” from her album El Dorado. The title of the song translates to “I fell in love.”
After going strong for over a decade, the couple called it quits in June 2022. The relationship came full circle when Shakira released another song about Pique. However, in this song, she insulted the former soccer player and his new partner Clara Chia Marti.
