IShowSpeed is one of the most popular fans of Cristiano Ronaldo on social media. The American YouTuber has gained millions of followers with his hilarious videos on the Internet. Speed has frequently confessed his love for Ronaldo in his funny and unusual style. However, soccer fans feel IShowSpeed might have offended Ronaldo after he recently disrespected Portugal star, Joao Felix.
Darren Watkins Jr., who is popularly known as IShowSpeed recently came to watch Portugal’s Euro 2024 Qualifier matches. During an event after the match, Speed met the Portuguese and Chelsea forward, Joao Felix. In addition to Felix, AC Milan star Rafael Leao also joined Speed and Felix. While Speed was up to his usual shenanigans, fans believed his behavior was rather unimpressive.
What did IShowSpeed do to Joao Felix?
In the video, IShowSpeed tried to learn how to pronounce Joao Felix’s name. When Felix pronounces his name correctly, Speed says “What? Same thing bro.” However, Felix insisted and said, “No, it’s not the same. Joao.” Speed finally proceeds to pronounce it correctly and says, “Fix it Felix fix it. The Chelsea GOAT right here.” Then, Felix offers some chocolate with a spoon to Speed, but instead, he hilariously puts it on the YouTuber’s nose.

To which, Speed had his usual atypical reaction. Speed didn’t seem pleased with Felix’s joke, and he started barking at the Portuguese star. While Felix seemed to take it well and laughed off the situation, this incident has not gone down well with the fans.
IShowSpeed’s behavior concerns fans
Soccer fans think that IShowSpeed’s latest interaction with Joao Felix was “disrespectful” and “cringe.” The fans have hit out at Speed, with one commenting “Speed has no respect.” A second one wrote, “So barking is the new funny thing. What happened to decent jokes? Cringe.” There were also comments like, “This guy is such a clown, I am happy Felix treated him as such.“

Fans also think that Speed’s misbehavior with Felix might have cost him his long-awaited dream of meeting his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo. Although Speed has met and collaborated with several elite soccer stars, he is yet to meet the Al-Nassr star. Most recently, he met Ronaldo’s former Portuguese and Manchester United teammate Nani during Portugal’s Euro 2024 Qualifier match against Liechtenstein.
