- Legia Warsaw fans unveiled an insulting tifo aimed at UEFA during the match against Molde.
Ultras of Legia Warsaw disobeyed a UEFA ban on February 22nd during the Europa Conference League game versus Molde. Following unruly behavior by fans before the match against AZ Alkmaar, the ultras section was barred from the second leg of the knockout round play-off.
A ‘this time you won UEFA’ banner was positioned behind rows of empty seats before kickoff, and children under the age of 14 were the only ones permitted in the home end. But it turned out to be a false alarm because the ultras had just relocated for the game to a different area of the stadium.
After UEFA shut the stand which houses Legia Warsaw’s ultras—for lighting fireworks & broadcasting “provocative message”—this was their response. 😆

As the teams gathered at the Stadion Wojska Polskiego, they also released firework displays and unfurled a banner proclaiming, “Surprise Motherf*****s!” in the field, Molde won 6-2 overall, defeating Legia 3-0 in the evening. The Polish team may now be facing additional UEFA sanctions.

Legia Warsaw fans unveil an X-rated tifo aiming a jibe towards the UEFA
Legia Warsaw may face additional sanctions from UEFA following the unveiling of an insulting flag by supporters during their Europa Conference League match against Molde. Due to the antics of its supporters versus Aston Villa and AZ Alkmaar, the Polish team has been subject to multiple punishments this season.
Before a group match against AZ in October, Legia supporters attacked Dutch police and rendered one officer unconscious, the Police force claimed. Due to the event, UEFA punished the team financially and forced them to vacate the “Zyleta” home stand for the game against Molde.

However, after gathering in a different area of the Stadion Wojska Polskiego in Warszawie, ultras subsequently unfurled another enormous banner in another section of the stadium that said, “Surprise motherf***ers.” This has angered the UEFA committee and heavy actions will be taken against the Polish side.
Legia Warsaw fans banned for 5 European games
Following disturbances caused by the crowd before their Europa Conference League match against Aston Villa last month, UEFA announced that supporters of Legia Warsaw, a Polish team, will not be allowed to attend their next five European away games.
Following disputes with police outside the stadium on November 30, Legia supporters were denied access to the match in Birmingham. The Premier League team then complained to UEFA about the conduct of the club’s supporters.

For causing crowd disturbances, causing damage, throwing objects, and igniting fireworks, the UEFA Control, Ethics, and Disciplinary Body ruled that Legia would not be allowed to sell tickets to its away fans for the next five UEFA games. It remains to be seen how this process will be followed by the Legia Warsaw fans in the future.
