Syria was hit by an Earthquake back in February, which had a devastating impact on the country. Amidst the UAE relief campaign for the natural disaster, one special boy’s wish came true when he met Al-Nassr’s superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Back in February, Journalist Munther Al-Muzaki met Nabil Saeed in Syria during his visit to the relief campaign. He came to know that Nabil lost his father in the disaster. The Journalist posted a video of the boy online expressing his wish to meet Cristiano Ronaldo.

The video went viral on social media and reached the right people at Al-Nassr who helped in making Nabil’s dream, a reality. The boy and his family were flown to Riyadh by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Entertainment.
Nabil and his family spent a few days in Saudi Arabia, where he met Cristiano Ronaldo. The Al-Nassr superstar met Nabil and hugged him. The little boy acted out the famous ‘SIUUUU‘ celebration of Ronaldo, which the player also enjoyed.
Nabil had a special message for Ronaldo. When he met him, he said, “I love you” during the interaction, showing his admiration for the superstar. The chairman shared the video of the heartwarming interaction on his social media accounts. Ronaldo also commented on the video with the heart emoji.

After the interaction, Nabil and his family attended the Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Batin at the Marsool Park Stadium. The Riyadh-based side came out 3–1 winners that night after coming from behind, marking an eventful night for the fans.
Cristiano Ronaldo led Al-Nassr to 9th win in a row
Fast-forward to October, Cristiano Ronaldo has started sensationally in his second season for Al-Nassr. The Portuguese scored the winner and assisted the opener for the Saudi club against Al-Tai FC in the Saudi Pro League.
This win was the 9th victory in a row for Al-Nassr in all competitions, after suffering back-to-back losses in the first two games of the season. Ronaldo has been firing on all cylinders, with ten goals and six assists in 10 matches in all competitions.

The Portuguese forward has formed a lethal partnership with new summer signing Sadio Mané and has pushed the Riyadh-based club back into the top four of the Saudi Pro League. Al-Nassr has 20 points from eight games and has scored the most goals (24) in the league.
Ronaldo and Al-Nassr will now shift their focus to the AFC Champions League Group stage, where they will face FC Istikol from Tajikistan at home in the second match day of their Group E. Al-Nassr lead the group with three points to their name.
