Recently, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) capitalized on the widespread attention garnered by the ongoing discussions within the scientific community regarding the presence of unidentified entities on Earth. In a creative move, they shared a video drawing parallels between Lionel Messi and aliens.
Lionel Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami has been nothing short of extraordinary so far. Messi has already scored 7 goals out of 4 games for his side and only needs 23 more to get past his former Argentine teammate Gonzalo Higuain in order to become the leading goal scorer in the history of Inter Miami.
What a video dedicated by AFA to Messi on his first days in Miami ❤️🇦🇷

Often regarded as the “alien” on the pitch, the AFA’s promo video showed a voiceover recounting while images of Messi were projected at Inter Miami:
“They say that in the United States, you can see aliens. The first time, they saw him turning around a free-kick match at 93 minutes and some saw him again a few hours ago getting into the quarterfinals with a shot from another galaxy. Others say they saw it in a supermarket.”
The announcer further appealed to the fact that Maradona and Messi were born in Argentina by saying, “In the United States they do not stop selling alien t-shirts. I don’t know, it’s like they’ve never seen one. Could it be that we are used to aliens?”
“Bah, with all the things that happen to us, it must be that our country is from another planet”, he concluded.
