Henry married an English model, Claire Merry, back in 2003 when he was playing for Arsenal FC. The French striker met Merry while shooting an ad film for Renault Clio cars and didn’t waste any time before making things official. The wedding ceremony was widely covered by English media. The couple welcomed their first child in 2005 when Merry gave birth to a daughter. Henry celebrated the birth of her daughter by celebrating a goal against Newcastle United by pointing the alphabet “T” with his fingers. The alphabet was Henry’s way of announcing that her daughter’s name starts with ‘T’. It was later revealed that the couple had named their daughter, Tea.

However, the relationship suffered a lot when the French striker decided to move to FC Barcelona from Arsenal in the summer of 2007. The move of completed in the transfer window of 2007 and in September of the same year, Henry and Merry got divorced from each other.
As per the reports, Merry divorced his husband on the grounds of his unreasonable behavior. These claims were contested by Henry which allowed for fast proceedings. The exact figure of compensation hasn’t been disclosed but some reports suggested that Merry earned around $13 million as a settlement from the divorce.
Since the divorce, Henry has linked with Andrea Rajacic. The Bosnian model has been reported as the current girlfriend of the French superstar. The 37-year-old model has been dating Henry for almost 15 years now. As per reports, Rajacic met Henry in Spain when she was visiting her sister.

The couple has yet to tie the knot but has two kids together named Tristan Henry, and Tatiana Henry. The French striker retired from soccer back in 2015. He played his last match in MLS for the New York Red Bulls. Since then, Henry has dabbled into management with average spells with Belgium (assistant manager), AS Monaco, and CF Montreal. He is the current manager of the under-21 side of France.
