The US soccer association has confirmed that American journalist Grant Wahl passed away very recently, during the World Cup game, Netherlands vs Argentina. The news came as a shock to many as he was just 48 years old.

People came to know Grant’s For those who don’t know, Wahl, caught the eye of many when he posted a tweet. Wahl wrote that guards stopped him from entering a stadium for a World Cup game. That stirred quite a bit of controversy, as the officials claimed that Grant was stopped because of the LGBTQ logo on his shirt. A name that is almost synonymous with controversies, Andrew Tate, even reacted to this on Twitter.

Soccer fans believe that Wahl’s death is a huge mystery. The cause of his death is still unknown to the world. However, it is believed that the American collapsed during the coverage of the Netherlands-Argentina match. Paramedics attempted to treat him for about half an hour. Doctors then declared that he had passed away at the hospital. Judging from his website, it seems like Grant has been feeling unwell for a while.
He wrote, “My body finally broke down on me. Three weeks of little sleep, high stress and lots of work can do that to you. What had been a cold over the last 10 days turned into something more severe on the night of the USA-Netherlands game, and I could feel my upper chest take on a new level of pressure and discomfort.”
It looks like Grant had experienced pain and discomfort in his chest. However, soccer fans believe that his death has to be investigated immediately. A fan tweeted, “This needs to be investigated ASAP. RIP Grant.”
