Bayern Munich and Manchester United face off against one another as both teams kickstart their UEFA Champions League campaigns. It is a very highly anticipated match that promises to be one of the blockbuster games of Gameweek, one of Europe’s elite competitions.
The two sides have been drawn together in UEFA Champions League Group A. Additionally, they have Galatasaray and Copenhagen in their group as well. It promises to be an easy group for both teams to qualify for the next round of the competition.

Both Bayern Munich and Manchester United head into the game with disappointing results from their league competitions. Bayern had to face a last-minute equalizer against Bayer Leverkusen and draw the game, which they should have won. Man United come into the game having faced a thrashing from Brighton at Old Trafford, in which they lost 3-1.
Manchester United have had a very poor run of results since the start of the season. They’ve only won two of their first five matches in the Premier League. Moreover, they have faced three defeats this season, which includes teams like Tottenham and Arsenal as well. Bayern, on the other hand, looks to be in great form, having won three of their last four matches.

It is going to be an interesting and thrilling watch. The game will take place on Wednesday night, September 20. The fans are going to be as excited as ever as two of the top names in Europe go head-to-head.
A Ban for Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel against Manchester United
Manchester United will head into the game with much worse form than Bayern Munich. They might have something to be hopeful for in the game on Wednesday. The news has come that Tuchel will not be available on the touchline for Bayern Munich.
Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern, is set to serve a one-match ban on the first game of this season’s Champions League campaign. The reason for the same is that he was sent off in Bayern’s last game in the Champions League last season. It was the second leg of the tie against Manchester City at the Allianz Arena, which Bayern drew 1-1. But they lost the tie 4-1 on aggregate.

The ex-Chelsea boss was sent off for shouting at the pitchside referee. He was against the decision made by the referee on the challenge made by Aymeric Laporte on Kingsley Coman.
This news is definitely something for Manchester United to be cheerful about. Lately, things have been going downhill for Erik ten Hag’s side. And facing Bayern in very good form will be a tough task for his side. But if Tuchel won’t be present on the touchline, it might turn out to be just the motivation that Manchester United need to defeat Bayern at home.
