However, both the fists of the CR7 are made to look tightly closed. The 38-year-old has been showcased wearing the outfit of his current club, Al-Nassr.

However, some of the fans around the world have given mixed reactions to the design of the statue. Fans are not impressed with the problem-plagued hairdo of their legend in the statue. A fan has said, “What did they do to his hair?”. Another one chimed in by quoting, “Needs a haircut ASAP”. A user tweeted, “Other than the hair the rest isn’t that bad“. One of CR7’s fans acknowledged the greatness of the player and commented, “Goat”.

The 38-year-old veteran joined the Saudi-based side Al-Nassr in January 2023 after egressing from Manchester United. The number seven has lit up the Saudi Pro League with his presence and goal-scoring ability. Ronaldo had already bagged 23 goals in his first 27 matches for Al-Nassr.
He has added to his goal-scoring reign with seven assists for the club. His current deal with the Saudi side runs until the middle of 2025. Ever since Portugal’s forward started playing in the Saudi Pro League, his popularity in the Middle East has really shot up. This new statue of him in Iran is a testament to this fact.

One of CR7’s statues is located in his home country, Portugal. The 38-year-old’s statue is located at Portugal’s Madeira Airport. However, one of the iconic statues of the veteran was put in place in New York. New York’s statue of the player is placed at the city’s famous Madam Tussauds. The wax-based statue was inaugurated in the latter part of 2022.
Another home-country statue of the legendary player was established around nine years ago. The statue is situated in Funchal, Portugal. The design of the statue was embedded in the same way as the latest statue of the CR7 in Iran. However, the popularity of the player all around the world is immense. So, one can only be assured that more statues of him could be instituted in the near future.
