Kylian Mbappe has been one of the most talked about players in the world for quite a few years. This is because the French superstar is seen as the successor to the legacy of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The forward rose to the scene with AS Monaco in 2017 and hasn’t looked back ever since.
The 24-year-old was the subject of one of the greatest transfer sagas ever last summer. It looked like Mbappe was set for a move to Real Madrid until PSG persuaded him in the last minute. This betrayal by Mbappe enraged Fiorentino Perez who stated that the player would regret it.
A year after the saga, it already seems like Mbappe is regretting his decision to renew his contract. The Frenchman has informed his club that he won’t be signing the papers to extend his contract which ends in 2024. This has forced PSG to sell him this summer as they wouldn’t want him to leave as a free transfer next year.

The French Champions have reportedly set a price tag of $220 million on Mbappe. And it is rumored that Real Madrid are willing to pay the sum to land the superstar. This has come as a surprise to Madrid fans as a journalist reported that Perez won’t let Mbappe escape this time.
He said: “PSG ask for €200M for Mbappé. And this time, Florentino will NOT let him escape.”
The Spanish side’s fans have been left surprised as the club recently announced they won’t be signing any more players this summer. Real has already landed Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham and would want to add Mbappe to the list.
Lionel Messi advises Kylian Mbappe to leave PSG
While Mbappe has expressed his desire to not extend his contract, he has been supported by none other than Lionel Messi. The Argentine has reportedly advised the Frenchman to leave the Parc des Princes and move elsewhere in Europe.

The 7-time Ballon d’Or winner rejected PSG’s contract renewal this summer and chose a lucrative contract to move to MLS side, Inter Miami. The Argentine now seems to be taking everyone away from PSG with him this summer.
It has been reported that Messi has advised Mbappe to move to a winning project. The French Champions have failed in each of their attempts to win the UCL in the past years despite landing various superstars. Messi has asked Mbappe to join either Barcelona or Real Madrid and win some trophies.
“I prefer that you go to Barca. But if you want to go to Madrid, do it, you deserve a real winning project,” said Messi.
It seems like PSG is in for a huge debacle as their superstars are set to leave this summer. Besides Messi and Mbappe, Neymar Jr. has also been rumored with a move away from France. It seems like the Paris side will be left with huge gaps to fill this summer.
