Gerard Pique’s ex-partner Shakira knows how to cause a stir among her fans. Like her iconic hit song ‘Hips Don’t Lie’, the singer does not lie about her impeccable fashion sense. The singer is well-known for something completely unrelated to music, her memorable bold looks.
The singer is known for her love for see-through dresses. Moreso, Shakira flaunted her fashion style while accepting the Special International Award at the Ivor Novello Awards 2022 in London. She opted for a two-piece outfit instead of a traditional gown. Her two-piece outfit caught the attention of everyone present on the red carpet.
While Shakira has shocked the world with her see-through dress, her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique is celebrating another major milestone in his career.
After bringing change to traditional men’s soccer with his Kings League, the former Barcelona star is now looking to turn things over in women’s soccer with his new venture, Queens League.
Gerard Pique wishes to transform women’s soccer with Queens League
Gerard Pique has now turned his attention toward women’s soccer following his huge success with Kings League. The Kings League is a new conventional style of soccer, which includes unique rules and shorter matches.
Similar to the Kings League, the Queens League is a women’s soccer league. The league would have 12 teams in which two 7-A side teams will play against each other for 40 minutes. Furthermore, the rules for the Queens League are a bit different and many popular personalities are involved in the league.
In contrast to other soccer games which are aired on TV, all Queens League games will air on Sundays on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok for absolutely no charge.
Gerard Pique is looking to do the same in the women’s soccer field after his success with the Kings League. The former Barcelona player celebrated a major milestone with his new Queens League. The first game of the League accumulated more than 200k viewers on the streaming platforms.

Translation: “Over 200k people watching the first game of the Queens League! History.”
The Spanish player wants to transform women’s soccer the same way he did with men’s soccer. The player is looking to apply the same formula as before: streamers, drama, and video game-like rules. Pique wants to create history with the Queens League amidst his personal life problems.
Pique currently has to travel to Miami every month to meet with his children as per the custody agreement with former partner Shakira. According to reports the former Barcelona player is looking for apartments in Miami for a comfortable visit in the future.
