On his affection for the club he expressed – “I love everything thing. But that I still take this decision, shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take”. However, he then mainly pressed upon the reason for his exit. “I have no problem now, obviously I knew it for longer that I will have to announce it at one point”, Klopp stated.
Asserting further he revealed – “I know I can’t do the job again and again and again and again”. His statements do reflect a certain kind of mental fatigue settling in within him. However, his loss as the club’s boss after the end of the 2023-2024 season, will be a tough one for the Reds to fill in.

The Premier League manager stated that during the club’s meeting about potential signings, he expressed his wish to the upper hierarchy. However, he lauded how the Reds’ hierarchy understood him. “At other clubs probably the decision would have been, ‘come on’, thank you very much for everything, but probably we should split here”, Klopp insisted.
Expressing his thoughts further about the club’s reaction he asserted – “That didn’t happen here obviously”.
