Barcelona, Inter Milan, Manchester United, PSG, Juventus, and AC Milan, have all employed the services of Ibrahimovic. Scoring over 500 club career goals and over 60 international goals for Sweden, Zlatan is one of the greatest strikers of the game. He is also the all-time top scorer for Sweden with 62 goals. Moreover, he recently became the oldest man to play in an international game for The Blue and Yellow.
Helena Seger has been the former PSG striker’s perennial partner. The couple met a long time ago and have been together ever since. Helena was born in 1970 in Sweden and started her career in the modeling industry. Even before meeting the ex-Manchester United striker, she was a very successful businesswoman. As of 2022, the 52-year-old is estimated to be worth $190 million.
How did Helena Seger and Zlatan Ibrahimovic meet?
Helena Seger and Zlatan Ibrahimovic first met 20 years ago, all the way back in 2002. It has been reported that the pair first bumped into each other coincidentally at a car park in the Swedish coastal city of Malmo.
Recalling the incident, Helena once told Ella, via Corriere dello Sport: “When we met, he had double-parked his Ferrari next to my Merc. I was in a bad mood and hissed him to move the car. I asked him to move the car right away and yes, he saw something that he liked.”

Because of this little row between the pair when they had their initial encounter, they got off to a rocky start. However, with time, they both discovered that they were quite similar and wanted to be together. Since then, they have been together for almost 20 years. During that time, they have been living together and even started a family.
Helena has come to occupy a pivotal position in the former Barcelona man’s life. The 41-year-old has decided to dedicate one of the 9 tattoos on his body to Helena. The 52-year-old features on his body in the form of the letter ‘H’, inside a tattoo depicting playing cards on Zlatan’s left wrist.
Are Zlatan and Seger married?
Zlatan and Helena have enjoyed each other’s company for the better part of 20 years now. However, the pair have decided not to get married yet. Even though the couple has two children born out of wedlock, they have decided to postpone tying the knot.
It has been reported that the pair have not married each other because of their similar “independent” character traits. “I think I like Zlatan because I stand up to him. I too have an important background and I have built my career with a lot of sacrifices,” said Helena in an interview.

“Getting married could disturb my sense of independence. I don’t want to be labeled simply as the wife of a player, or the winner of a beauty contest. I think people don’t know how much I have studied, worked, and fought.”
This is what Helena said when asked why the couple had decided not to get married right away. Nevertheless, not being married has not posed any kind of a barrier between the pair as they have been going strong for two decades now.
Who are Zlatan’s kids?
Helena and Zlatan have been dating since 2002. Although they never tied the knot, the couple did decide to start a family. In 2006, they were blessed with their first son. The couple welcomed Maximilian Ibrahimovic, their firstborn son, on September 22, 2006.
Two years later, Helena and Zlatan announced that they had been blessed with a second son. The couple then welcomed Vincent Ibrahimovic into their family on March 6, 2008. Just like his partner, Zlatan’s sons also feature on his arms in the form of tattoos.
There was an interesting incident recently in which Zlatan claimed that he had 27 sons. He referred to his 25 teammates at AC Milan as his sons, alongside his two biological children. He even gifted each one of his 25 teammates a PS5, when the gaming console first launched.
