Sports commentator Joe Rogan took quite a personal shot at LeBron James. As NBA fans will certainly be aware, King James came into the league all the way back in 2003 when he was a young man. Now, two decades later he is still playing at a high level and keeping his team in contention.
While all of that is well and good, Rogan, who is quite a popular personality himself, took a chance to make fun of the 4x NBA champion for the state of his hairline. Although this might sound trivial, let us take a closer look at what Joe Rogan had to say on this peculiar subject.
Joe Rogan comments on LeBron James’ hairstyle
LeBron James is a billionaire and is one of the richest athletes in the world. Therefore, he certainly has enough money to put some attention to his haircare. At least, that seemed to be the core of Rogan’s argument. He began discussing the issue after a video of LeBron being reminded to pull his headband up and get his hair straight by Anthony Davis went viral.
Upon first glance, it really doesn’t seem to be something that one would give attention to. However, Joe Rogan felt passionately about the issue when talking about it on his podcast.
“Did you see what happened in the game when LeBron’s hair fell off…nah it’s real. The guy is a fu*king billionaire. He’s a god amongst men he’s a giant super-athlete with a really well-shaped head what the fu*k man shave your godd*mn head he’s got some nonsense glued on his head, it’s not his hair…his hair moved up and someone had to tell him. Got some sh*t glued on his head..”
Rogan seems to be accusing King James of using something superficial. That wouldn’t be the first time that people have found a reason to mock LeBron. Joe went on to hypothesize that James’s lack of haircare could indicate an underlying state of denial over his age.
That is certainly possible since it is quite common among middle-aged men. However, making fun of the King’s advancing age while he continues to dominate the league isn’t the smartest of moves. After all, LeBron has been called old and washed multiple times, only to disprove his haters in most situations. In all fairness, it will be slightly harder for him to do so in this sphere.
