Stephen Curry signs second deal worth more than $200 million
Curry signed a 4 year $215 million extension one day ago with the Warriors. This makes the 7-time All-Star the only player in NBA history to sign multiple contracts of $200 million or more. The 3 time NBA champ’s current contract ends next summer. The new signing will extend his stay with the Warriors till 2026.

The 12-year veteran recorded an impeccable performance on the stat sheet this season. He averaged 32 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game which almost led the Dubs to a playoff run. Without their All-Star teammate and shooting guard Klay Thompson it was a rather challenging season for the Warriors
Drafted No. 7 overall in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Davidson by Golden State, Stephen Curry boasts career averages of 24.2 points on 47.7 percent shooting (43.3 percent from behind the arc), 4.6 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in 762 games. He already has a HOF resume with 2 MVPs, 3 rings, 2 scoring titles, 7 All-Star appearances, and 4 All-NBA 1st team selections.

Splash Brothers: Steph Curry and Klay Thompson reunite in 2021-22 season
Klay Thompson missed back-to-back seasons due to injuries. He tore his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA finals. His estimated return to the league was the 2021 campaign. However, Thompson suffered an Achilles injury during practice on the day of the NBA draft last November and missed the 2021 season as well.
Both Thompson and Curry hold NBA records for most 3 pointers in a game(14) and most 3 pointers made in a single season(402) respectively. The 2021-22 NBA season sees a reunion of The Splash Bros duo Steph Curry and Klay Thompson who will pose a threat to all the top championship contenders. With one of the best guard combos in NBA history, Golden State will definitely strive to make a championship run next season.
