Erik ten Hag is a professional soccer coach from the Netherlands. He was born on 2 February 1970 in Haaksbergen, Netherlands. He currently manages the English premier league club, Manchester United. 

Ten Hag started his career as a central defender at Dutch side FC Twente. As a player, he played in the Eredivisie and lower Dutch leagues throughout his career. At the age of 32, he announces retirement in 2002.

His managerial career started in 2012 when he helped the Dutch side, Go Ahead Eagles qualify for the top division. He also managed Bayern Munich II in 2013 and ultimately joined Ajax in 2017. In 2022, he was appointed as the head coach of Manchester United.

Erik Ten hag started coaching with Go Ahead Eagles in 2012 and helped them qualify for the Eredivisie in his first season. In 2013, he had a coaching stint with Bayern Munich II. 

Before joining Ajax in 2017 He was also the sporting director at the Dutch club Utrecht. He won three Eredivisie titles, and two domestic cups and helped the team reach the Champions League semi-finals in the 2018/19 season. 

After a successful career at Ajax, he was appointed as the head coach of English giants, Manchester United in 2022.

The Manchester United coach is married to Dutch beauty Bianca Ten hag. The couple has known each other since childhood days and has two daughters and a son together.

Bianca likes to keep herself off the public eye and isn’t active on her social media.

The first achievement Erik ten Hag really received as a manager was helping the Go Ahead Eagles qualify for the Dutch top division-the Eredivisie.

After joining Ajax, in 2017, Eric made his name by winning three league titles and the KNVB Cup twice. He also was the architect of Ajax’s remarkable run in the 2018/19 Champions League. 

After joining the Premier League, ten Hag has considerably improved the Manchester United squad and won his first piece of silverware -the 2022/23 Carabao Cup.
