Jamahal Hill is an American professional mixed martial artist fighting in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
After completing his education, Hill passed on a potential basketball career at Davenport University. During this time, he decided to follow the path of MMA.
In 2017, Hill made his professional MMA debut, and he quickly rose through the ranks and earned the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight title, defeating Glover Teixeira.
Hill is a southpaw with kickboxing skills along with Brazilian jiu-jitsu prowess that rounds out his skillset in the octagon. Currently, he holds the position of #1 in the UFC light heavyweight rankings. In his second title challenge, Jamahal came up short at UFC 300.
