Lerone Murphy is an English mixed martial artist fighting in the UFC featherweight division.
Murphy originally had football aspirations. However, a knee injury ended his dreams. Being the nephew of the renowned boxing trainer Oliver Harrison, Murphy initially engaged in some boxing training before transitioning to MMA at the All Powers gym.
In 2013, Murphy got 3 bullet wounds, including hits to the face and neck. Murphy endured significant injuries, including the need for prosthetic teeth and a shard of bullet permanently embedded in his tongue. Despite this, Murphy continued his MMA career. Currently, he holds the #14 position in the UFC featherweight rankings.
