Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior popularly known as Neymar is a Brazilian soccer player born on 5 February 1992 in São Paulo, Brazil. He is well known to be a prolific goal scorer in the game. Neymar set a strong foot in his career at the age of 17 after joining Santos and winning two successive Campeonato Paulista championships. 

He earned a big move to Europe and joined FC Barcelona in 2013. He was a part of the club’s iconic attacking trio MSN alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez. While playing for Barcelona, he won La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League.

 In the year 2017, Neymar transferred to the French side, Paris Saint-Germain for a record-breaking fee of €222 million. Since then Neymar has won four Ligue 1 titles. 

Neymar current contract

The Brazilian attacker did sign a contract extension with the Parisien club in 2021 and earns 36 million per season.

In Paris, he rakes 3 million per month which makes him one of the highest-paid footballers ever.

Neymar‘s current contract with PSG runs till the summer of 2025.

Neymar retirement 

The 31-year-old is still at the top of his game and has a couple of years left on his contract in the French capital. Neymar has not hinted about retiring in the coming few years.

It’s still a mystery where the Brazilian will go after his contract expires at Paris. Neymar has the age-long dream of winning the FIFA. World Cup and the 2026 World Cup could be his last.

It seems that Neymar has got back with his ex-partner Bruna Biancardi according to reports. After having started dating in 2021, the duo parted ways back in August.

On the Brazilian’s 31st birthday, the couple was seen sharing close snaps on social media. Never even put up a social media post expressing his love for the 27-year-old model.
